Dr. Mike Adenuga Jnr, the CEO of Globacom, on Sunday night rewarded African champions, the Super Eagles with a whopping $1million.
Stephen Keshi received $200,000 from the billionaire businessman, who also assure him he will take over payment of his salary from March. Adenuga made these announcements, shortly after the 1-0 win over Burkina Faso.
Alhaji Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa, had earlier given the team N130million and promised to do more if they won the trophy.
The team will arrive Nigeria, where they will be received by the president on Tuesday and the government’s package for them will be unveiled.
