South African Man Arrested For Beating & Raping His Wife
A 55-year-old South African man has been arrested for raping his wife in South Africa'sSoweto suburb, Gauteng police said on today, Wednesday, Feb. 27.
Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said the man allegedly beat up and raped his wife on 17 February, when she returned home from a party.
"The man forcefully undressed her, beat and raped her", he said. The woman went to the police and the manwas arrested on Tuesday. He was expected to appear in the Protea Magistrate's Court on Thursday [Feb. 28].
