A can of worms is about to be let loose by the highly hunted governor of
Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi. He said the time is finally at hand for
him to expose all the Abuja-based politicians who are after the
resources of the State instead of the welfare of all Nigerians.
He said, “I will speak to the state... When I speak to the state, you will not respect any of these people (Abuja-based politicians). I am now determined to open up."Gov Amaechi who said because of the many troubles they had faced him with he won't run for any other political office in 2015, added that the people of Rivers State and Nigerians would lose their respect for his critics by the time he opened up on their evil deeds.
“I am not running for any other position that they would say ‘you must manage information so that people can trust you’. Nobody realises how much effort we have put in place for people to walk on the streets.
“Nobody realises how much money we have put in place to make people walk on the streets. All they are interested in is how they would bring down those efforts. So, as men of God, you must stand for the truth and preach the truth.”
Amaechi made the strong worded threats when the Archbishop of Niger
Delta, Anglican Communion, Archbishop Ignatius Kattey, visited him in
Port Harcourt.
