Man Commits Suicide In Court After He Was Pronounced Guilty Of Sodomy
A man, who was found guilty of sodomizing a 14-year-old girl has committed suicide just moments after conviction.
Coroner’s report reveal that 48-year-old Steve Parsons swallowed a cyanide Pill inside the courtroom on Thursday just after a jury pronounced him guilty of statutory sodomy. He began “convulsing” minutes later was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Parsons placed an overnight delivery of cyanide on June 25, authorities said.
The preliminary coroner’s report “found evidence of cyanide poisoning.”
The investigation is ongoing, but White told the Post he expected the final forensic report to confirm Parsons’ death was a suicide.
