BAYERO FLOWN ABROAD, THREE SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Emir
of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero has been flown to London for medical check up, while
three suspects have been arrested over Saturday’s attacked on the Emir.
The Emir left his palace amidst tight
security to the VIP wing of Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA)
before boarding a flight to London on Sunday.
Bayero’s car was riddled with bullets
when the gunmen attacked him, but although he was unscathed, his orderly and
three royal guards were shot dead while protecting the Emir.
