Selah: Mary Mary gospel singer says she wanted to stab her husband for cheating

Famed gospel singers and sisters Mary Mary sat down with Ebony to
discuss an intimate part of their lives — their husbands. The sisters,
who aren’t twins despite the striking similarities in their
appearance, ironically married men with the same last name: Campbell.
In 2000, Tina married Teddy Campbell, who is the drummer for The Tonight Show Band.
Teddy brought a daughter, Cierra, from a previous relationship, but
together the couple has four children. Erica married their record
producer Warryn Campbell on May 26, 2001. Their wedding was documented
on the TLC show, A Wedding Story. The couple has three children together.
During the ladies’ interview with Ebony, Tina revealed
shocking details about her relationship after discovering her husband
was having an affair. Read the excerpts from the interviews below:
Tina on discovering her husband was having an affair:A number of people were stunned to learn that a devout Christian such as Tina Campbell would confess to attempting to kill her husband for his adulterous ways and felt she should have not revealed the information at all. The Zulu King, a commenter on this site said: “hεll, Why is Tina Campbell putting her business out there? Never would have known her husband cheated or she ‘how can she just kill man’ crazy. Let me google his name and cheating.”
Once I became aware [of the affair], I initially wanted to kill my husband…I was considering adjusting the will, the living trust and all that kind of stuff. I did physically try to stab him. Several times…I never got to the point of physical harm, not really, but my words…My words hurt.
Erica on husband going into the ministry:
I feel like my husband has been called to minister…Now I said, ‘Lord, when I first started dating this guy he worked for Death Row Records, but he was from the church.’ That was a perfect combination for me: a little street, a little church.
