Music lovers in Nigerians were filled with excitement over the upcoming Kilimanjro’s event which was headlined by Internationally known Mary J Blige, but the joy faded away when Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage was conspicuously missing from the list of performers that had top female performers like Seyi Shay, Niyola etc.
On enquiry, a source (names with-held on request) close to the organizers of the event revealed:
“It’s because of the whole endorsement thing. She’s an MTN Ambassador and word is Etisalat is also behind the show, so she definitely can’t do the show. It’s in her contract”.
