Super eagles forward and Levante player Obafemi Akinwumi Martins has abadoned his family,close sources say. Friends to the family at Orile Aguda revealed that after Martins made money in the soccer game in 2004,he has since settled the family with only minimal sum of money and after the death of their parents,Martins has not taken care of the family. Speaking to one of the relatives of the Martins by the name Ajoke Muniru Martins hinted that she is unhappy with the issue that Martins has not taken care of them for about 7yrs,after the Lagos State Government demolished their family house in Orile. They don’t have anywhere to stay,they have been squatting in a ” face me i face u” building,while Martins recently bought 2 houses costing about 350million Naira in Victoria Garden City and cars which cost millions. She also hinted that Martins has refused to take the fourth baby he got from the 4th wife,after he recently last year, had a baby again for another woman in London by the name Katherine. She revealed that they now live from hand to mouth,while Martins clubs around anytime he is in Nigeria,and has no single investment at all.
