Oh No! PHOTOS: Cristiano Ronaldo Loses Vision In Both Eyes, To Miss Portugal Friendly Against Gabon

Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo is out of his country’s international fixtures after he suffered a ghastly injury to the face which left him with no vision in both eyes during Real Madrid’s Liga BBVA fixture against Levante and will be without the services of playmaker, Cristiano Ronaldo when they engage Gabon on Wednesday in a friendly
Ronaldo was due to have tests at a Madrid hospital after being caught by defender David Navarro in the opening exchanges of last night’s clash.
Although Ronaldo returned to action after being patched up on the sidelines and even managed to score Real’s opener in the 21st minute, he was unable to return for the second half and coach Jose Mourinho said that his star forward ‘lost vision in both eyes and couldn’t go on’.
Ronaldo arrived at the Portugal team hotel in Lisbon on Monday but he will play no part against Gabon in Libreville.
Coach Jose Mourinho said that his ex-Manchester United ace ‘couldn’t go on because he had lost vision in both eyes’.

Although he wasn’t going to play, he arrived camp with the national squad, wearing a leather jacket and blue Nike cap but – presumably for the cameras – chose to hook his sunglasses into his T-shirt.
