A young lady, Halima Asar Tsar was arrested in Taraba State yesterday for murder.
Halima who is from Anguwan Awankyesu in Gassol Local Government Area of Taraba, stabbed her newborn twins to death and dumped their remains in her neighbour’s toilet.
It was gathered that the owner of the toilet, Mrs. Evelin Joseph, who lives in the same compound with the suspect, went to the toilet and discovered the babies there, and immediately alerted the police.
When the twins were taken out of the toilet, it was discovered that they had been stabbed to death.
It was further gathered that the twins were born prematurely at home. And rather than allowing them to undergo incubation, their mother decided to kill them.
